at 8:00 AM you have to be ready (had your breakfast /checked out from your room) at the Hotel lobby where you will meet your guide and Driver.  Your tour will start by going to Amman’s Citadel, situated on a “mountain” in central Amman. Known for being one of the oldest continuously inhabited places, this first stop will give you a glimpse of the capital before going to Amman-Downtown. Known as “Al-Balad” by the locals, you will get to see the different & various markets and ancient Souks. Ending this tour will be a visit to the most obvious and impressive remnant of its Roman past. The Roman theatre that was built at the time in Amman was known as “Philadelphia” (around 106AD).

Then we will take you to Jerash (a 45-minute drive from Amman), known for its well-preserved Roman cities. You will get to experience the impact & influence left by the Greco-Roman eras in the Mediterranean basin and the deeply rooted Arab traditions preserved by the local people. And if you’re lucky you’ll get to enjoy a historical reenactment of gladiators & chariot race.

After a 3-hour drive, we’ll reach your hotel in Petra,you might attend Petra’s night show (available Monday, Wednesday & Thursday), a fascinating sight to be a part of. (Optional for 24 USD per ticket).

At 8:00 AM Your adventure will start by Exploring Petra. We will start our day off by adventuring through the Petra Seeq (canyon). We will go on walk leading you to “Al Khazneh”. Known to be one of the seven wonders of the world. Just try to grasp the fact that the Arab Nabateans, more than 2000 years ago, carved this 45m high monument Treasury into the red mountain rock.

Enjoy a mouthwatering Lunch at Al Qantara restaurant in Petra.

Around 2:00 pm, your journey will continue south of Jordan, to the most impressive deserts in the world where you’ll join a 2 Hour Sunset Jeep Tour and get to see the naturally multi-colored canyons, towering sandstone mountains, and dunes of Wadi Rum, known as the Valley of the Moon & made famous for being used as a background setting for numerous films (“The Martian”-2015, “Rogue One”-2016, “Aladdin”-2019, just to name a few…). (if no time permits, sunrise tour will be the next morning subject to the clear sky during winter).

Finally, you’ll reach the Wadi Rum Bedouin Camp, located inside the protected area, where you can sit back, relax or even meditate, away from the city noise.

You’ll end your day with a dinner & your accommodation for the night will be in Wadi Rum.(Overnight in Wadi Rum).

Enjoy your early Breakfast at your camp in Wadi Rum.

at 7:AM We’ll drive for around 4 hours to reach Mount Nebo, where you’ll get to have a view over the Jordan Valley, the hills of Jerusalem & the Dead Sea.

You will then go on a mosaic tour till you get to Madaba, a city known for the mosaic map of the Holy Land, dating back to the 6th century AD, preserved in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George.

Around 2 p.m. you will be driving towards the lowest point on Earth passing by winding roads, so that you can enjoy a stress-free day, floating in the saltiest body of water in the world. Enjoy your lunch with an outstanding view of the sea. The Dead Sea is known to be Earth’s lowest elevation on land and the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. Its harsh environment does not permit the flourishment of any plant or animal. On the other hand, it has extremely healthy & beneficial properties that attracted visitors for thousands of years and today it will supply you with natural mud that you can spread on your skin putting any skincare lotions to shame. (PS: be careful not to splash dead sea water in your eyes…. it’s salty).

At the end of the day, we’ll be heading back to Amman for your Dinner & (Overnight in Amman).

7 am: Breakfast at the hotel.

Afterwards we will transfer you to the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Bridge) where you will be crossing to Jerusalem. We will then proceed to Mount of Olives. Where you will be positioned east of the Old City and have the most blessed view over it. Not far from the Mount is the garden of Gethsemane. Where the Church of All Nations is located, the church where Jesus is said to have prayed before his arrest, and the garden is where his disciples slept. Next, we will be going to Mount Zion. A hill in Jerusalem just outside the walls of the Old City. Where you will be visiting King David’s Tomb & the Last Supper Room.

Our final stop will be in Bethlehem. A major Christian pilgrimage destination for being the biblical birthplace of Jesus. You will then go on to visit the Church of Nativity. Which is said to be built above the cave where Jesus was born & you will see the birth is marked by an inlaid silver star. The Church of Nativity shares the Manger Square with the Church of St. Catherine and the Mosque of Omar.

Your accommodation for the night will be at your hotel in Jerusalem. (Overnight Jerusalem)

7am: Enjoy your morning breakfast at the hotel.

You will be able to visit and go around the historical city of Jerusalem in your free time. If it is allowed on this day, you will visit Al Aqsa Mosque & the Dome of the Rock. If not, do not worry you can visit the. Later you can continue through the Jewish Quarter & explore the markets & the museums.

You will then be making your way back to the border and make a stopover in Jericho or the “City of Palm Trees” as it is known in the Hebrew Bible. Where archaeologists have found the remains of more than 20 successive settlements some of which date back to the very beginning of the Holocene epoch of the Earth’s history (around 11 000 years ago, 9000 BCE!!!).

If the time permits it, WE will go to the Mount of Temptation. A cliff in the Judean Desert.

At the end of this tour, after crossing the border, you will be taken to your hotel in Amman. Where you will be staying for the night. (Overnight Amman)

  1. The official language of Jordan is Arabic. English is spoken in tourist areas.
  2. The currency of Jordan is the dinar. ATM’s are easy to find in tourist areas. credit cards aren’t widely accepted. Keep some cash on hand.
  3. Tipping around 10-15% is common for good service.
    Don’t leave without a traditional Jordanian head scarf, skin products from    the dead sea and a decorated sand bottle.
  4. Jordan is conservative at heart. Keep modesty in mind with regards to clothes.
  5. Be sure to try a tasty Zarb barbecue. Play it safe and stick to bottled water.
  6. It is considered polite to refuse a meal three times before accepting it.
  7. Avoid giving the gesture for “ok”. Putting your thumb and index fingers together and raising the other three is a threatening gesture.
