As someone who has had the opportunity to live and work in the Middle East, Jordan’s capital city, Amman, I think it is important to give a fair and objective account of the region. Many of us who have traveled to the region tend to view things from a Western perspective and fail to appreciate the culture, religion and history of the area. I think it is important to understand what people are thinking and feeling in the region, especially given the current political climate and tensions between the west and middle east.

Jordan is a country where the average income is very high, so it’s hard to see the average person walking around, eating a meal, and buying a beer. Jordan is a tourist haven, but it’s also a country that has a long history and a lot of fascinating stories to share.
