Stargazing experience in Wadi Rum

For travelers planning a day trip from Aqaba or Wadi Musa, it is best to save time on a jeep tour of the surrounding area. The jeeps, which are commonly used in Ram by small tour operators, are usually driven by young locals and spend no more than 4 hours visiting Ram itself. However, during our tour of Wadi Rum, we saw amazing ancient carvings and spectacular sites such as the Lawrence Spring, Hasali Canyon, Anfisha Inscriptions, Lawrence House, Little Arch, Um Fruit stone bridge and Red Sand Dunes.

Hiking in Wadi Rum

If you prefer a jeep, camel, or two legs, you will need a guide to show you around – private cars are not recommended outside of the Wadi Rum Visitor Center. Visiting this beautiful part of Jordan was one of our best experiences. One of the best moments of our experience in the Space Village was the setting. Then Feras took us to the camp, we drank more tea and a traditional Bedouin dinner (they call it in Zarb). Our family has lived here for centuries and we know and love the desert as an old friend.
